Windows 10: Imposible to connect my new Android Smartphone on my Microsoft accounts personal or Pro

I try to connect my new smartphone on my account.I have a working connection on my Windows PC for everything. My Microsfot accounts on My PC do not display any problem. My registered email adresses are correct, as well as my mobile phone number.But on my new Android phone a Xiaomi Redmi Note 12, this does not work. I DO receive emails containing a validation code, but it is rejected on my smartphone I checked that I have deleted all such old emails for one use in my mailbox, so I'm sure I get the most recent emails. I DO receive the SMS containing a code, as well that code is rejected.It's

Personal Vault on Android smartphone and Microsoft Authenticator

I am using Office 365 and Outlook on my Android smartphone. Also the OneDrive app is installed.

Admittedly, I never launched the Android OneDrive app before: there was no need.

Yesterday I did and tried to open my OneDrive Personal Vault from my smartphone.
After submitting the usual verification code (that was sent to my Gmail account), I assumed... to enter the Personal Vault that I had created and using on my PC.

Instead, I got a message "Create a Personal Vault" and PIN message.





I decided to let it rest and ask here for views.

Just now I tried to access Personal Vault from my Windows PC.
Usual procedure with verification code.

Then a pop-up..

Get the smartphone app to sign in without a password. It's more convenient and more secure.
"





Most probably this is related to the 'Microsoft Authenticator app for Android'.

So I installed that.

However, even after approving all kinds of matters, I still end up with the pop-up "Create a Personal Vault".
Within OneDrive on my smartphone, below "Personal Vault" it says "Tap to set up".

One way or the other OneDrive on smartphone has no access to the existing Personal Vault.
Does anyone have any clue?

OneDrive Personal Vault - accessing from Android device

I am trying to access my OneDrive Personal Vault using my Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone.
Whatever I try I end up with a screen telling me to create a Personal Vault, rather than opening the existing one, which was in fact the 'starting point'.

Steps taken:
- sign in using my Outlook account
- select verification method (send a code to my gmail account)
- paste that into the verification screen

After clicking [Verify] I get this "Create a Personal Vault"-screen.

Any suggestions?
