    Impossible to become Windows 10 administrator


    Does anyone else believe that Microsoft is DELIBERATELY sabotaging the software to FORCE us into Win 11 or 365?Not long ago, I was very happy with Win 10, then all of a sudden, I have NO control over the software. Can't become administrator and therefore cannot control or access controls to programs that I have installed.As another user said, if there were any alternative to Microsoft - other than Apple - I would jump to it.Microsoft should simply stop supporting Win 10 and let us continue to use it without any Microsoft updates, which only benefit Microsoft.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
