    Impossible to enter letters in Bitlocker PIN Not Recovery Key


    In my company we have activated the alphanumeric Bitlocker PIN. A user has stopped being able to enter letters in his Bitlocker PIN and I have not found any solution on the internet or in the documentation. With USB keyboards it does not allow to enter letters either.I don't know what has changed, but we have had to skip the PIN with the Recovery Key to change to a PIN that only contains numbers. Why did this happen? You are the only person this has happened to. The notebook is an HP EliteBook 850 G8 Thanks in advance.Alejandro.

    Trying to enter my Bitlocker Recovery Key , but it will only allow me to enter numbers and not letters.

    A new disk of what? Windows 10?

    The numerical password I get in the command mode is 32 digits mix of letters and numbers. How does this translate into all numbers?

    1. Are you not able login to your computer due to BitLocker Recovery Key?
    2. Did you ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key on your computer?
    3. Are you not able to login to your Microsoft Account to find the BitLocker Recovery Key?
    4. Are you using Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Professional?

    Meanwhile, try finding BitLocker Recovery Key if you have ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key for your computer.
