Windows 10: Impossible to update windows 10.

My version of windows 10 is getting old at this point, i think its a build from 2018 so im trying to update it. however, nothing ive tried to far has worked.

Windows update gives error "0x80070003" and refuses to do anything else (ive tried every solution from the top two pages of google, nothings fixed it).

after this i tried using the media creation tool. clicking "install now" gives an error saying "Sorry, we're having trouble determining if your PC can run Windows 10" despite the fact the pc is already running windows 10, just an old version.

Creating a bootable usb and trying to install from there gives a bluescreen saying "Driver PNP Watchdog" after trying to boot for around 5 minutes. Ive tried UEFI and legacy boot modes, tried making the USB drive with both media creation tool and rufus. all give the same BSOD.

I have no idea where to go from here, please help. no other guide online has done anything to resolve any of these problems.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
