    Improper charge on my Discover card bill, from "MICROSOFT REDMOND WA"


    I just received my Discover charge bill, and there was a charge May 20 from "MICROSOFT REDMOND WA" for $139.00.

    Why is this … since my computer does not have special Microsoft products on it … I use Open Office products.

    Why am I being charged this amount, and how can I prevent any further charges on my Discover Card?


    My only other option is to have a BLOCK put on MICROSOFT REDMOND WA so no further charges can be made to my account. I need to have an explanation.

    Why does Cortana think I am in Redmond, WA?

    In the Action Center I get these nice notifications from Cortana about the weather & my next meeting. I really like them except that Cortana thinks I am in Redmond WA and gives me the weather in Redmond. I have the Location service turned on and the Maps
    app shows my correct current location in Cambridge, MA.

    Hi,

    I have received in my credit card bill a charge of MSFT*E04007T4F9 8006427676 WA with and ammount of $ 32.85. I'll appreciate if someone can help me.

    MOZILLA team invited to Microsoft Redmond!

    I just think that Redmond wants to copy all the good stuff in FF and put it in IE7 or something. "Redmond has a cat, too. A copycat."

    I'm not using FF myself (I use Opera), but I know i's rather popular, so I wouldn't put it past Microsoft. After all, Vista is an OSX clone.
