I'd like to span a massive 8k image over my trip-tych of monitors, for it to look seemless both in the displayed image and the behaviour of the mouse. It's typical that multi-screen setups are likely to have different monitors with different pixel densities. This is something that the display settings are unable to recognise.

The proportions of the frames in the settings look to be taken from pixel resolution alone, seemingly neglecting to take into account the different pixel densities of the monitors. The result is that the monitor frames are not true reflection of the monitors on peoples desks. Assuming, I'm right...

If the rearrange displays tool were able to include data regarding pixel density must be logged in the driver somewhere, right?, then the tool could re-proportion the monitor frame sizes to accurately reflect the real desktop position of multi-screen monitors in people's homes all across the world! So desktop images would scale to the same size across the screens regardless of the pixel density.

In addition, is it possible to make a mouse pointer to be able to traverse the space between my monitors, such that you could arrange monitors with no touching edges - I'd like that.

    This must be possible, right?!?

    :)
