  1. Improving "ppi" in Photodraw 2000 without program changing pixel size

    Hi,

Having prepared various images at 900px, I was trying to reset the "ppi" from 150 to 300 in Photodraw 2000 for my website using:

Tools > Options > Picture Quality

The settings were Picture Quality: Typical Photographic and Compression level: Low before changing them. Whenever I changed either setting the size of the image would either double or halve. Is there any way of increasing the "ppi" to 300 without modifying the image sizes?

    Thanks, Walter

    :)

Photodraw v2 on windows 10 - CAN'T OPEN files bigger than 2730 pixels

    Hi,

Is there a work around so I can open files bigger than 2730x1536 pixels in microsoft photodraw?

I tried to open a photo taken with my phone that was 5312x2988 pixels in size.

Photodraw always gives me the following message

"PhotoDraw cannot access this file. It may be damaged."

After resizing the file to different sizes and having the same message over and over I was finally able to open the file when it was resized to 2730x1536 pixels.

    thank you

    Monitor SIZE vs Pixel Density

I have a 19" (1440x900, 89.37 PPI) pc monitor and a 32" (1920x1080, 68.84 PPI) hdtv. Which one would you suggest I use if I am gaming at a desk? I like the 19" monitor as the image is sharper despite the resolution being lower. I like to use keyboard and mouse for gaming, and I also program a lot. Is pixel density more important than resolution when it comes to image quality? I know that the lower the pixel density due to screen size the more you have to increase the sitting distance.

Photodraw v2 on windows 10 - CAN'T OPEN files bigger than 2730 pixels

    Hi Nathaniel.,

Yes I can open the photo file 5312x1536 pixel in any other photo programs like microsoft office picture manager, movie maker or paint onmy windows 10 pc.

My windows 10 pc is up to date.

I also installed photodraw v2 on my laptop running windows 7 and it's the same issue not opening files bigger than 2730pixels.

I also have and old pc running windows xp and I have no issues opening any size files larger than 5000pixels in photodraw.

    Any ideas thank you
