Windows 10: In a loop and cant open windows10

I have just bought a new HP 24 all in one PC.


Initial set up worked fine. Now I cant get past the log in screen. After entering user name and password it offers to set up pin. If click ok it the fails. If click skip it goes back and offers the same options again. Cant get any further HELP!

We suggest getting the update then troubleshoot Internet Explorer if the issue continues to persist. Resetting Internet Explorer may help resolve the issue. Follow the steps below:

• Open Control Panel.
  
• Open Internet Options.
  
• Go to Advanced tab.
  
• Click on the Reset button.
  
• Click OK.
  
• After the reset, reopen Internet Explorer to check if the issue still persists.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Windows10 Update October 2017

Hi,

Corrupted system files after the update are one of the possible reasons why this issue is happening. To help resolve the issue, we suggest trying to go back to the previous build. Follow the steps below:

• On the boot menu, select Troubleshoot.
  
• Click Advanced options.
  
• Select Go back to the previous build.
  

Note: Going back to the previous build will uninstall the recent update.
