In chrome ALL SITES that need a password computer auto fills but then asks for a PIN too I NEED TO STOP IT.My passwords are saved by my computer. Because I don't want to have to type them in. After the latest updates it now ASKS FOR MY PC LOGIN PIN at every password auto fill. No one else uses my computer. I do NOT WANT THIS HASSLE. I searched for a fix and read to uninstall the last FEATURES. I did... windows updated and STILL ASKS FOR MY PIN fine at boot up but NOT OKAY FOR EVERYONE SITE I HAVE TO LOG INTO.

If it is internet explorer, I would suggest you enable the auto fill feature in internet explorer and check if it helps.

Auto fill not working

Original Title: Auto fill

For a while, auto fill worked but has now stopped.

I'm using Windows 10, Office Word, and Google Chrome.

Having followed the on-screen steps, I've filled in name

and address and phone etc. and have clicked enter, but

the content box is blank again when I reopen, hoping

to use the select-and-edit to get the program working.

When hoping to fill in the information on sites where it

used to work, now the items with the tinted backgrounds

no longer appear so they could be chosen. Having tried a

number of provider and community sites, no effective

solution has been found. Could someone assist?

 

IE11 - Auto-fill: Allowing it for a site previously visited but password store was declined.

1 and 2 below probably won't help, but are so easy you might as well try them.

1. On the sign-in page, type the first letter of the username. If a drop-down list appears, select that name (put the pointer on it) and hit the Delete key.

2. Control Panel> user accounts> select your account> Manage credentials> check Web and Windows. If the site is listed, remove it.

3. Clearing all web passwords will reset this site. Do you have passwords backed up?
