Windows 10: In Kiosk mode, i can't open any files from the file explorer

Hi,In Kiosk mode I can open files with the applications that are installed.Exemple : doc ; docx ;.....etc with LibreOfficemp4 with VLCphotos with paint or LibreOffice not possible with Microsoft Photo, it shows me the error below But when I try to open these files directly in the File Explorer, I get a pop-up with this message : "These files can't be opened" : Your Internet security settings prevented one or more files from being opened.The only files that I can open without this error message are PDF files.Since I can't change the Internet Option directly from the Kiosk mode, I've tried t

opening .dds files with gimp

Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

 

PowerPoint file crashes PowerPoint upon opening

since this happens in some of the computers only, suggest that you open the file on working computer and copy everything and paste to a new powerpoint file.
most of the time it works to me. *Smile

 

Windows 10 kiosk mode: screen locks after login

I understand that you are facing issues while using Kiosk Mode on Windows 10.



Since you are being logged out of Kiosk Mode after every login, I suggest you to refer the article

Troubleshoot kiosk mode issues.



Also, you can try removing and creating the Kiosk account again, follow the steps mentioned below to remove the Kiosk account:

1. Go to Settings >
   Accounts > Family & other people.
   
2. Under Setup a kiosk option click on
   Assigned access.
   
3. Now under Kiosk info click on the
   account name and click on Remove kiosk.
   
4. Now click on Remove.
   

Once the account is removed, refer the article to
Set up a single-app kiosk.
