    Hello NilakshPimpale,

    I'm Jin, a fellow Windows 10 user and an independent advisor.

    I understand that your device is currently stuck at 30% when performing a recovery.

    To confirm if your device is really stuck, check on the hard drive light and see if its stable. A stable light means it's really stuck, hard press the power button and hopefully it should revert any changes. On the other hand if it's still blinking, it means
    there's still some activity on your device, just give it more time as resetting might be taking quite sometime.

    If the recovery device fails, try accessing the advanced startup. When booting once you see the Windows logo hard press the power button to interrupt it. You may need to do this 3-4 times till the advance startup shows up.

    In advanced options, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Repair Windows. If repair fails, proceed with Troubleshoot > Reset this PC.

    If all else fails, you might consider performing a clean install of Windows 10

    To perform a clean installation of Windows 10:

    Using a different device, create an installation media:

    1. Click the "Download tool now" button.

    2. Once downloaded run the MediaCreationTool2004.exe file.

    3. Accept the terms.

    4. Select Create installation media, then hit Next.

    5. Proceed with the prompts.

    Once created, boot your device on it and it will proceed in the installation then you'll be ask where to install Windows. On that window, you have the opportunity to delete these partitions and its contents.

    Ive recently bought an acer aspire 5 A515 52 laptop. It was advertised as having a backlit keyboard which is one of the main reason I bought this laptop over the others. I cannot figure out how to turn it on, ive looked through settings and tried fn+f9.
    Does anyone know how to turn the backlit keyboard on?
