Windows 10: in my file explore on the left handside it says network then under that it says GHOST is...

HelloWhen i click my file explore on the left hand side where the is your Quick AcessDesktop ETCRight at the bottom it says Network-Ghost <--- what is this i've never seen this before and i can't delete this? is someone trying to hack onto my computer?

It would be a big help if someone could explain why windows is connected to a network but file explorer says it is not. I would upload a screenshot showing the computers on the network that ARE connected along with the error message but this web page says that the jpg file failed to upload (3 times). It also says "Image inserted successfully" but there is no evidence that it has.

To assist you better, I would like to ask what are the methods that you have tried to solve the issue.

I suggest you to run the Network troubleshooter by following the steps below and check if it helps.

• Type “troubleshooting” in the search box and press Enter.
• Click on “View all” on the top left corner.
• Click on “Network Adapter” and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.

file exploer not showing network locations

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

1. Open File Explorer, right click on the screen or click on the option which says Computer on the top left which is next to file.

2. Select "Add network location" and follow the on-screen instruction.
