Windows 10: In my keyboard CTRL and spacebar keys are not working..

In my keyboard CTRL and spacebar keys are not working please fix this issue whether it is hardware issue or software issue please confirm

Windows Key + Spacebar not working

Tried using SFC as you suggested and it went through all the steps successfully, but Windows key + Spacebar still doesn't work.

Looked at the link you gave and I see that one of the posts with a similar problem was using an HP Pavilion - same as me.

But it was the keyboard shortcut was working till the upgrade.

I've not tried Andre's suggestion yet.

 

Spacebar doesn't work unless I hold down ctrl.

Spacebar, ctrl, alt, and the windows key don't work properly. I struggle with alt-tabbing and copying and pasting with ctrl doesn't work either. I have tried uninstalling the keyboard from device manager already.

 

I noticed that for some reason CTRL blocks my SPACEBAR

While playing Minecraft after a pretty long while I wanted to sprint jump but no dice, holding down STRG blocks spacebar????

Keep in mind I did not change the Keyboard and was able to do this before. So I'm guessing some Windows update is causing this issue, or maybe Minecraft or drivers who knows?

Keyboard tester used: Key-Test - keyboard test online

Things I've tried:

1. Does it happen elsewhere and not just in Minecraft? Yes! Notes/google search bar/ Discord if it has text input it has this issue.

2. Keyboard tester! Are any Keys broken? No broken keys as expected by my HyperX Alloy FPS RGB I can press all the keys simultaneously and they all register.

3. What happens in the Keyboard tester when you press STRG and SPACEBAR?

Press CTRL<CTRL>

Press SPACEBAR <Space>

hold CTRL and then press SPACEBAR <undefined> <Space>

hold SPACEBAR and then press STRG registers and spits out <CTRL> <Space> or <Space> <CTRL> respectively as the website only displays keystrokes upon release.

On that note when holding CTRL and then pressing/holding Spacebar <undefined> is continuously outputted!

4. I tried Troubleshooting the Keyboard via Settings > Update&Security > Troubleshoot told me to update drivers and reboot did that. No bueno still the same issue.

5. Disable all Sticky keys Toggle Keys or Filter Keys. No change.

What's the next step??? any advice?

what sort of ASCII nonsense is my keyboard spewing when this combination is pressed? How do I find out? and how do I stop it?

Thanks for any help in advance for now I'll avoid using the combination and set my sprint key to R in Minecraft.
