Windows 8.1 update changed the language, can't change back

Maybe, these will help... it seems it is a common enough problem.

Language packs are no longer available after you upgrade to Windows 8.1

Change your Windows display language

  (If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, click Settings, and then click Change PC settings.)

• Tap or click Set as primary to move the language to the top of the list. If the language can become your Windows display language, you'll see Will be display language after next sign-in appear under the language.
• Sign out and then sign back in to finish.

Normally to change the language of your Microsoft Edge, you must change the language of your Operating System.

If the language of your System is different from the one you want to place in the browser, the suggestion is to change the language of your "Operating System"

To do so, follow the following steps:

1) Go to "Windows Settings"

2) Enter "Time and language"

3) Near the "Language" option

4) Click on "Add to language"

5) Select the "language of your choice"

Now go to the selected language

6) Click on it and type "Options"

7) Download all language options

Back to "add languages"

8) From "Download" for each option.

9) Press the language again and go to the option.

"Set as Default"

10) Then "restart the computer"

Once the steps are completed, see if your Microsoft Edge changes the language, if not, change it manually and check if it does not change when you close the browser.
