Restore Microsoft Store application in Windows 10

After multiple attempts, I managed to get Store open by enabling Developer mode (as suggested by one of the posters here) and running the command "Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}" in Powershell. Not sure if is exactly the solution since I've tried different steps suggested by different users in different forums (including uninstalling Store separately) but hey, I am not complaining!

App store and Microsoft account

You need Gmail account to access play store likewise you need Microsoft account to access Microsoft Account. Though there is some work around but i would suggest you to Change your Password to something much less complicated but Strong.

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

Microsoft’s Edge browser may be storing private browsing data

When Microsoft’s Edge browser arrived this summer alongside Windows 10, it was seen as a major step forward, incorporating new features like Cortana Assist alongside tricks that had become popular elsewhere, like Reading List and the new InPrivate browsing mode.

But now, new research suggests that InPrivate may not be as private as it seems. According to an investigation by researcher Ashish Singh, websites visited from InPrivate can be easily recovered from a user’s hard drive by examining the WebCache file. Visited sites are stored in the same "Container_n" table that stores tab history from conventional browsing, the investigation found.

By examining that table, an attacker would be able to reconstruct a user’s entire browsing history, whether in Private Mode or not. "The not-so-private browsing featured by Edge makes its very purpose seem to fail," Singh wrote in Forensic Focus...
