    Dear Sir, A message appeared when I open my PC at the Start up that " We can't sign in your account, This problem can often be fixed by signing out of your account and then signing back in. If you don't sign out, now any files you can create or changes you make will be lost"/ sign out /close. This is happened only from yesterday evening. till that entire system worked well. When I open the page after starting up, I saw, a clean work happened in my system,

    There may be several reasons why this message keeps appearing. Sometimes, this message is triggered if you are using a two-step verification in your email. We suggest that you try these methods below to resolve this concern:

    • Log out and log in with your Local Account password or the Microsoft Account password again to check if this is caused by a glitch.
    • If you are not using a Microsoft account to sign in, create one, and use it to sign in.
    • Verify your identity on this PC. Open Settings > Accounts > Under
      Your accounts you will see a Verify your identity on this PC link > Click on
      Verify. Follow the prompts to identify your account.

    Hi Juan,

    Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

    I can understand that it must be difficult for you when things are not working as it should. Sorry to know that you are facing this issue.

    Please answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue:


    • When you say “I'm not able to verify my identify under PC Settings”, what is the error message you get?

    • Did you make any changes to the pc prior to this issue?

    • Have you installed all pending updates on the pc?

    • What is the error message you get with the Local account?

    • What are all the troubleshooting steps you have performed on the pc?

    • Is the sync issue specific to mail app?

    I suggest you to sign out from the current user account, restart the computer and then sign in to the Admin account to check if this helps.

    Some problems can be fixed by signing out of your account and then signing back in. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and select Sign out. Once you’ve signed out, sign back in to your account.

    Also suggest you to install any pending Windows updates on the pc to check if that helps.
    Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.

    You may boot the computer in a clean boot state and check if the issue persists. When you start Microsoft Windows, typically there are several programs that start automatically and run in the background that may interfere with the system. These programs
    may include antivirus and system utility programs. When you perform a clean startup procedure, you prevent these programs from starting automatically.

    Regarding your question:

    Start your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut Down

    Do this twice

    On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt . . . etc.

    Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Options - Reset this PC

    Choose to keep nothing

    Then start the Reset

    Also you can try:

    You may need to reset your password for you to access your account using password login since PIN login is not working. To efficiently assist you, we'd like to gather more information:

    Are you getting any error messages when you tried to login?

    Which build and version of Windows 10 are you using?

    Are you trying to log in to your Microsoft Account or to your Windows 10 local account?

    Have you tried resetting your password?
