In my working plot of WIndows 10Pro have a message "Invalid datebase file",I wont to resolve erorr and eliminate it!

Invalid Boot.ini File

Lately, I started getting this "Invalid Boot.ini File, Booting From: C:\Windows\" message everytime when I boot up my system right before it gets to the Windows boot screen. Is there anyway to get rid of this message?

 

AVG Invalid update control CTF file

If anyone is receiving the message, "Invalid update control CTF file", there's a solution.

I came across the error myself - But I did my research and found the following things on the AVG Support Site.

Double-click the My computer icon on your desktop (or open Start -> My Computer)
Navigate to the following folder:

Windows XP / 2000:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\avg8\update\download *

Windows Vista:
C:\ProgramData\avg8\update\download *

Find the avginfoavi.ctf and avginfowin.ctf files and delete them
Restart your computer.

Note: If you cannot find the folder ''Application Data'', You need to un-hide all folders / files.

That should cure it. It worked for me *Smile
