  2. Sending 3D created files as an email attachment

    Hello,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Usually, the 3D files saved from Mixed reality viewer or Paint 3D will be saved in the folder 3D Objects on the PC.

Since you want to send the 3D file that you created as an email attachment, you can do it by going to the email app you are using and attach the file by locating the 3D objects folder. Follow the steps to locate the 3D objects folder while attaching
    the 3D file.

    1. Click on the Attachment option on the email app.
    2. Now on the attachment window locate This PC on the left hand side pane.
    3. The 3D Objects folder will be under Folders on the right hand side pane.

    Hope it helps.

Licensing of Microsoft's 3D Objects on Paint 3D

I am looking for licensing of 3D objects in the extended library on Paint 3D. I would like to share some designs on thingiverse based on objects I found in that library. However, I don't want to do so if it violates your licensing.

In Paint 3D, how do you attach one 3D object to another to make them act as one?

Problem selecting objects in W10 Paint 3D

Hi any big users of Paint 3D out there?
I've got this recurring problem where I an trying to point at a drawing object I've made with my cursor to select it - and it does not matter how many times I try or where I click on the object - its almost as if Paint 3D can't see that there is an object there.

I get round it by grouping objects - spinning the whole pic around and then ungrouping and pointing at the object again to select. Sometimes that works , sometimes not. Its a right pain in the rear end!

I've also tried looping around the object and again sometimes it picks it up sometimes not.

I've also tried working in 3D mode - it works a bit better - but again not 100% and I find that view a bit awkward. Is there some surefire way of making sure when I'm point at something - Paint 3D actually selects it? In PowerPoint this is easy - because if you get a heavily layered pic with a lot of objects - you can use the Select Pane to cycle through the objects until you get to the one you want- but I don't think there is a similar function in Paint 3D?

    Thanks
