Windows 10: In place upgrade 2016-> 2022 virtual Rds session host server resets on user login

As title says, recently upgraded a virtual rds session host server using in place upgrade from 2016 to 2022. Anytime anyone logs on, via domain or locally the vm resets itself. If I start in safe mode with networking login works fine. Error logs around shutdown just say unexpected, loss of power etc. have not found anything consistent in logs that would explain this.

Foot Pedal redirection to Windows 2022 RD Host Server

I've got an RDS environment setup on Windows Server 2022 hosted on VMWare and I cannot seem to get RemoteFX USB Redirection to pick anything up from my endpoint used to connect to the session hosts.

My session are published via RDWeb and I'm trying to connect via both Windows 10 Laptops and iGel dumb terminals

Does anyone know of any restrictions with this?

 

RDS 2016 Session Host Capacity

Hello All,

We are planning to configure one session host server with 16 GB RAM with 4 core processor. We need to publish only MS office basic APPS like word, excel, power point, out look etc. Please help us calculate the session host
capacity

• What is the optimal number of Session per host and What is the Assumption or Rationale behind that
• How is the Server Sizing calculated and what is the MS reference for that calculation along with assumptions and rationale to arrive at those Sizing
• What is the Redundancy planned to manage the load during the Server Maintenance / failure?
• What is the logic to have the Auto scaling enabled ?

 

RDP users at one site get disconnected intermittently from the RDS servers

The situation is, the users at one particular office branch for our client become intermittently disconnected from their RDS server. Our troubleshooting steps so far have been:

-Signed in to their RDS accounts from our network, which resulted in no disconnections

- Went to site and signed in from a laptop (since they use thin clients) but again they were disconnected still

- Went to site and created new user accounts to connect to the RDS servers but again were disconnected

- The RDS session hosts report a 'session id * was disconnected, reason code 0' which after googling suggests the user closed the connection e.g. the local network forcibly closed it

- We rebooted all of their network equipment and have run a wireshark trace which captured a disconnection, which i am not sure how to attach.
