Windows 10: In task manager my disk is constantly at 50% and the active time is constantly 100%

I've tried a few fixes and have even factory reset with my computer, is this a problem with the SSD itself or will there be a fix within windows that I can do?

So you didn't understand. Change the active plan to some other plan and change max/ min processor state values (not CPU) to something other than min %100 and max %100

Just as a test.




If that has no effect then I don't have other suggestions.

Hi, on the users tab of the task manager the CPU section always displays 100% CPU usage, but when viewed with Core Temp the usage percentage is at it's correct % which is 0-1%. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks.

Sorry for the late reply to this. I have tried switching the plan to power saver and i set the cpu to 80% but task manager just has it stuck at a lower % with a constant amount. But process hacker displays hardly any %. I also tried clean boot, even with nothing loaded in startup options it still is stuck at 100%. I even went and reset the PC but still task manager remains at 100% cpu constantly.
