Windows 10: In the BitLocker interface, the keyboard is not functioning and therefore unable to input...

When I opened my laptop today, I was greeted with the BitLocker interface, and I have no idea what caused it. What’s worse, when I tried to enter my Recovery Key, the keyboard was completely unfunctional, making it impossible to input or confirm anything. I have never had such a **** Microsoft Windows experience, and Win 11 is simply too unstable.So, my question is how can I restore my keyboard to its normal function and input my Recovery Key? Otherwise, it will cause significant losses, and I have already spent two hours on this without being able to complete any work.I hope you can respond a

Language keyboard input doesn't equal output

Hi,

Language input may vary depending on the Input method set on your keyboard settings. To sort your concern, we suggest that you check if the desired input is set correctly by following these steps:

• Type in Language and keyboard options on the search box.
• Select the desired language that you're trying to set up.
• Once you've selected the language, select Options.
• Under Keyboards, select Microsoft IME and click
  Options.
• Scroll down and select Open advanced settings.
• A window will pop up. Under General tab, click the drop-down arrow for
  Input method and select the desired input.
• Click OK.

TPM Ready with reduced functionality; unable to use BitLocker

Yeah, I misunderstood you, I was thinking TPM. Anyway I just checked my BIOS and interestingly enough, mine is disabled, and yet no issues with my TPM module or BitLocker here....

Intel Platform Trust Technology off...




Trusted Platform 2.0 Enabled...




Trusted Platform Management showing module is good...




All that said, it probably wouldn't hurt if the OP doubled checked the BIOS and tried enabling PTT to see what happens.

And yes, Secure Boot is Enabled, along with Key Management.

 

Keyboard input problem.

  Type "language" in the search bar, choose Settings, and then tap or click
  Add a language.
  
• 
  Choose the language that you want to add, click Options next to the language name, and then click
  Add an input method.
  
• 
  Browse the input method list and look for the keyboard layout you want to use.
  
• 
  double-click the keyboard layout, and click Save.
