Windows 10: In Windows 11, after system image recovery, I cannot login on settings.

Hi,I've been using system images to backup everything on my Windows 10 system, and restoring them with no problem. None. But when I updated to Windows 11, it wasn't the same. Every time I restore a system image, and an error on the Apps page of the Settings app, 0x80860010, this application made too many requests, press retry to continue. But every time I press the retry button, it repeatedly gives me the same darn error. Can someone please help me with this before I temporarily ditch Windows 11? [HELP]Image recovery issues

Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?

 

System Image Recovery Hangs

I discovered that if I wait until the step "Advanced Options" to connect the external drive containing the System Image, and then click on "System Image Recovery", the recovery proceeds normally.

If I connect the external drive before starting the recovery process, that is, before clicking on "Shift" and "Restart", the system hangs when I get to the "System Image Recovery" step.

Kindly follow the steps below to work and troubleshoot on this issue:

Method 1:

Run check disk on the hard drive to see if there are any corruptions.

• Press Windows key + X > Click Command Prompt (Admin).
• In the Command Prompt > Type chkdsk /f and press
  Enter. Take note that while you perform the check disk on the hard drive, if in case any bad sectors are found then check disk will try to repair the sector.
• Once Check Disk completes, boot the computer
  and then verify if it works.

Method 2: Perform System File Checker(SFC) scan.

Run a System File Checker (SFC) scan to check for any file corruption.

SFC scan will scan for corrupt system files on the PC and repair them.

• Press Windows key + X > Click Command Prompt (Admin).
• In the Command Prompt > Type sfc /scannow and press
  Enter.

If all else fails, we would suggest for you to have this option:

Method 3: DISM Commands. Fix Windows corruption errors by using the DISM.

Follow the steps on this article, Fix Windows Update errors by using the DISM or System Update Readiness tool.

Keep in mind that the steps provided for Windows 8.1 applies to Windows 10.
