    I have a Dell Inspiron 16 5630 with Microsoft 11 home edition. It requests a pin for me to open it and I want to keep the pin but I don't want to have it requested so often. Can I adjust the amount of time that goes by before the pin is requested again?

    Unlock the windows PC using Dynamic lock.

    Hi Anwesh,

    You can try these steps to extend or adjust the screen time out of your device:

    • Press Windows Key, type settings and select Setting from the list.
    • Navigate to Account />Sign-In options/>Lock Screen />Screen time out.
    • Change the value as required under Screen as per requirement.

    Also, please ensure that PIN should be enable under Sign-In option in Settings. If not try to work around and enable the PIN option for the same.

    Once you're done, update us with the result.

    Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??

    How do you adjust the time it takes to lock your Windows PC when you step away from it? I am using Dynamic Lock, then I select to allow Windows to automatically lock when your device when the phone is out of Bluetooth range. How do I adjust the time period it takes to your PC?
