    In windows 11 file explorer, why is the pinned section not on top?


    'Pin' means put something ON TOP OF ANYTHING ELSE, is it not? Correct me if I'm wrong!I'm new to win11.I opened file explrer and added some pinned dirs, and found strange behavior: my pinned dirs are under these folders like desktop, downloads, etc.And after a while it would be like below, the pinned section just gone. Very inconvenient for me.my privacy settings: not showing recently/frequently used files in quick access.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    So the issue is the window not being large enough to show all the pinned items.
