IE 11 64 bit does not run in Windows 10 pro

Apologies for the long delay in responding, but multiple issues with win 10 Pro has delayed me getting back to this issue.

There is a IE folder under both directories listed above. (Program files (x86) and Program files.

The ieExplore.exe file exists under both. When running both and checking the About IE tab, brings up the identical information. In the past, the one would indicate that it is the 64-bit version.

There is nothing to easily tell you which version is running. The problem arose AFTER the WIN 10 Pro upgrade from Windows XP professional which was installed on my PC, and where IE 11 64-bit was available and running. I have a 64-bit PC and the About WIN
10 Pro screen confirms it.





So the question remains, how does one know which version of IE -11 is running?

Windows 10 Upgrade 32-bit to 64-bit

So, Windows 10 Upgrade is being rolled out worldwide, and I have 'reserved' my upgrade.

Currently my computer is running Windows 7 Pro 32-bit. I'm planning to 'upgrade' it to Windows 10 64-bit (via fresh install, of course).

After reading many references, these will be the steps I'll do:

1. Let the "Get Windows 10" app upgrade my OS to Windows 10 32-bit
   
2. Note the activation key
   
3. Download the Installation Media for Windows 10, but choosing 64-bit instead
   
4. Perform a clean install
   
5. Reactivate using the activation key in Step #2
   

(Of course I'll backup my data first.)

However, I still have some questions:

1. On Windows 7, the activation key does not differ between 32- or 64-bit versions. Is it still so with Windows 10?
   
2. Will I be able to download a different architecture on Step #3?
   
3. Is there anything I need to prepare beforehand?

Do all retail Pro versions come with 32 bit/64 bit options?

Afternoon everyone.

A few months back MS offered me Windows 11 but my WIndows 10 Pro x64 bit sys did not meet the spec.

I have since upgraded and when I come to install the downloaded (saved for later) or the freshly downloaded versions they are both home??

I can see retail versions of Win 11 pro but cannot see the 64 bit version.

So my question if I buy Win 11 pro licence will it enable the install of both 32 bit and 64 bit versions?
