    In Windows 11 when I try to rename a folder, the folder above is selected by Windows to be...


    In this snip I selected "Work" to be renamed and "Sons" was selected by Windows as the folder to be renamed.Individual files within a folder can be renamed with no problem.I have restarted and updated several times since I first noticed this issue.Any help would be appreciated.

    Windows installation folder

    A couple of years ago, I read that Windows has a special folder that contains files used during the installation process. Also, I heard there's another folder that Windows uses as a back-up of every system file, just in case the user wants to do a system restore. Where can I find both folders and are they safe to delete?

    Windows 11, folder renaming problem.

    When I click the More Options link then select Rename, the highlighted folder to be renamed jumps to another folder and I am unable to rename the desired folder. If I click on the folder a level above the folder I want to rename, and display the folder in the right pane, I am able to rename it. This is insane as unwittingly, some folders get the wrong name. Is this a Windows 11 bug?
