Windows 10: INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE - Can't uninstall updates

For a while now, my computer seems to not be able to install a windows update. When it starts, he tries to install it but fails and undo the change.

Three days ago on 03/02, when I started my computer, there was a bsod with the message INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE. In the troubleshooting menu, I tried to uninstall the last quality and feature update but there was an error. There was a restore point that was automatically created on 03/01 for the reason : critical update. But when I tried to restore it, there was an error linked to windows update sorry I don't remember which one. I created a bootable USB and when I went into the troubleshooting menu from there I was able to use the restore point, so my problem was solved.


But this morning, I started my computer and the bsod is back with the same message : INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE. But this time, there is no restore point. I thought it was linked to the update that failed to install, so with DISM, I checked the last update : there are 3 of them that were installed on 03/01 that have the state 'uninstall pending' and one installed yesterday with the state 'install pending'.


With DISM, I tried to uninstall those 3 update but DISM says that there are not present in the image. I tried uninstalling the one installed yesterday. It completed to 100% but then it shows me the error 0x800f0830.

I have also tried to revert pending actions with DISM but it resulted in error 126.


Can someone help ?

It is an intermediate level link.
There are more advanced steps that can be ran once the partition structure is known.
There are steps for repair of the boot sector, operating system, etc.
Sometimes this bugcheck can be caused by windows updates.

A reset save files equivalent may be able to be performed.
Alternatively a clean install can be performed once important files are backed up.
