Windows 10: Inaccessible Boot Device error in Windows 10 Still

April 2020, and still this problem appearing.


MS needs to take action and refine their update process.


Long story short.


Rebuilding older PC 2009 to add SSD; with older BIOS with MBR for drives.


Installing windows multiple ways about 12 tries, always failed. from SD, from USB Flash, from USB drive etc; differing versions etc; new build, preserving files etc.


Finally noted that installs seems to be GPT type installs and will not boot on my MBR BIOS machine.


Once I got it to boot, and then it fails with trademark "Inaccessible Boot Drive error" upon startup, the next day. Again, did new installs for a few days.


Finally checked MS forum, where they seem to say, drivers were being removed upon updates and to roll back the updates.


So, today, new install, and froze updates for 30 days to try and preserve the booting of machine for that time.


Therefore, it seems this problem has been around for years, and affecting thousands of users and tech support staff, will MS please resolve.

on the point 1 why should I boot from windows 8.1 CD/DVD ?

this problem is with windows 10 .

the error I get when I boot the system is

inaccessible boot device
I followed the steps to run a repair ,,, and after finishing all the steps of repair the computer restart automatically and the same blue screen with the same error . I think theres no way at all to solve this problem .
