@zbook I’m not at my pc right now but I have questions.
    3. By deciding on the connections, what do you mean? I chose my SSD to boot because it is an SSD. May you please clarify?

Motherboards can differ for the enumeration of drives.
It does not have to be changed.

I have my SSD connected to P5 and my HDD is connected to P4. I did it like this because it looks nice in the case.
I think I have said this before, but I would like to highlight that my SSD is not selectable as a boot drive in the priority list. The only way for me to choose it is by selecting Windows Boot Manager which automatically selects it.
Should I change the SATA port it is connected to in and will that change the enumeration? If not, is there a way to make my SSD C: Disk 0?

I think I made a mistake when installing them. https://i.imgur.com/JZDMD6N.png but if i moved them down my SSD and HDD would be swapped order anyways Inaccessible Boot Drive after Update? :p

Just did some research it seems that people have problems with Disk order and other things disk related because of SATA port order. I think this is coming together now.

I'm not sure if that works for Windows 10 as well, but tomorrow when I get back to my PC i think im just going to rearrange my SATA connections to 0 and 1. This should be safe right? After moving them will the PC work like normal or do I have to go through the BIOS boot priority again?

It;s something that I rarely encounter. It would be trial and error.

i installed and updated all the stuff you suggested and restarted. everything was fine. Then there was a notification from Java to update to Java 8 version 161. (Java runtime environment). I updated it and it said "cannot verify java home". I ignored that error and restarted in order to investigate inaccessible boot device (lets just call it IBD) causes.

My computer tries to boot and I get IBD. I startup repair and my PC is able to boot as I expected it to. Java prompts me to update Java again. This time, I update it and this time I fix the "cannot verify java home" according to what this website suggested. https://www.mkyong.com/java/how-to-s...on-windows-10/

i restart again and everything is OK. I dont think Java caused IBD because it seems very unlikely something like Java can have an impact on booting. After the startup repair I also used log collector because I thought it might show some stuff idk.
    NOP (2018-01-27 18 27).zip

I have not changed my SATA cables yet my table is currently full of stuff so I cant flip my PC sideways to do adjustments properly.

EDIT 30 mins after original long reply:
I shut down and turned it on to test if it’s still ok. I got IBD again ):

Startup repair undid all my java changes. I've just uninstalled java to see if it is really the problem. might reinstall later if it isnt.

One more note: I have Gigabyte FastBoot enabled.

    Inaccessible Boot Drive after Update?

What if I cannot get to safe mode? I have tried restoring from a restore point, and pretty much every option in advanced options, still keep getting inaccessible boot drive. Would love suggestions, Microsoft chat said reset the pc.
