Windows 10: INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE if I try to enable core isolation in Windows Defender

I’m using windows 11 latest version on a Dell XPS 15 7590. I noticed that if I try to enable core isolation what I get is a blue screen at the next boot telling me INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE, then it reboots with core isolation disabled.I’ve read that the error might be the result of incompatible drivers. Is that true? Is there any way to understand which drivers are not compatible? That seems strange as while I try to enable core isolation windows defender tells me it’s scanning for incompatible drivers.

What drivers are listed in your case?

It can be the BIOS update released by your manufacturer through windows updates which might have changed the status from Enabled to disabled. However here are the steps to enable it again.

• Open start menu and search for Windows Defender Security Center.
  
• Go to Device Security.
  
• You will be able to find Core Isolation, please click on Core Isolation details.
  
• Then you can turn it on.
  

Restart is restart is required for the changes to be effective. Please write back, if you need any further assistance.

Cannot enable Core Isolation in Windows 11 due to incompatible drivers

I just received a Windows 11 update. Before the update I couldn't enable "core isolation" due to a driver problem. I followed all the directions given to remove the incompatible driver and still could not enable "core isolation", and the computer would not restart. If I performed a hard shutdown, and then restarted the computer it would work with the "core isolation" not enabled. After the windows update, same thing. I use Malwarebytes and Windows Defender. Is my computer unsafe without "core isolation" since I don't seem able to make it work?
