Windows 10: Inactive Windows Dimming

I remember being prompted to turn this setting on to preserve battery but want to disable it now but can't find how to. Basically, any inactive windows on my laptop dim in brightness, and only the one being used remains full brightness. This includes split screen and tabs that pop up on software like Word too. I just want to know how to restore my settings to make it so all my windows are full brightness again.

• If it's not connected, have you noticed certain activities wherein the screen dims automatically?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
