I don't want your garbage updates. I don't want your garbage updates to pollute my pc with the bloatware that are Microsoft products. I don't need your updates and I don't want to be interrupted with a reminder for something I don't want.

It seems like basic knowledge that Microsoft should not interrupt users with by spamming unimportant updates, but hey, I guess they want to drive users away from their services. I grew up using Apple products and I bought a laptop with Windows preinstalled because it was cheap. Guess what? You get what you pay for because Microsoft Windows is trash. Cortana is utterly useless and cannot be terminated. Windows services that I never use have to be disabled from the registry because I guess why not complicate things for end users by randomly starting up all of the garbage processes they do not want?

Good God Microsoft. Get it together. Your service is utterly terrible. I dislike your spammy, ugly, stupid, laggy, unpredictable operating system. I'll be taking my business elsewhere the next time I buy a computer. This software has failed me too many times. I'm tired of having to download apps to replace the crappy pre installed versions, e.g. Web Browser, Media Player, etc. Your competitors go beyond what you could have accomplished. I can't even bring myself to launch your apps on this laptop because they take 10 times as long as the 3rd party versions and do not have any good features. Windows Apps are like the free version of an app with an upgrade that you have to pay for.

    :)

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Incessant Updates :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
