Windows 10: Incompatible Driver Software left in Windows 11 - 22H2

When I tried to update my Windows 11 pro 64 bit from 21H2 to 22H2 it would go. Tracked this down to my Logitec Web Cam akas its drivers so I unpluged the logitec web cam from USB port. And then Windows 11 updated. However using the new Windows Secuirty tool. But it says that there are unacceptable driver software. There is no logitec as a Program. Under Device Manager I unistalled any Logitec shown. It still says there are files in the Driver Store folder in System 32 folder. Files like lvbflt64.sys etc... Even though I have a local Administrator account for the PC it won't let me de

Windows 11 22H2 Incompatibility

My Lenovo laptop evidently has the issue where the Windows 11 version 22H2 will not install on my laptop due to an incompatibility with the current version of the Intel Smart Sound Technology drivers. I understand this issue cuts across a number of computer brands and models. Any suggestions on how can I resolve this issue, or will MS issue updated drivers any time soon?

Windows 11 22H2 on my Windows 11

Hi - my Dell XPS 15 7590 originally came with Windows 10 but I upgraded to Windows 11 without problems. Now running Windows 11 21H2 OS Build 22000.1098

Windows update is not offering me Windows 11 22H2 to download/install.

My Windows Registry does not seem to have any reference to '"DestBuildNum, UpEx, UpExU, and RedReason" keys.

Is there some incompatibility with my system that is stopping Windows Update from offering me 22H2?

I'm also registered for Windows Insider and that does offer me an Insider version of 22H2.

Radeon Software incompatible with laptop drivers

I originally posted this on the AMD Forums but was told that I would get a better answer here.

Currently, every week, sometimes twice a week, AMD Software will become out of date all of a sudden due to what I believe is a background windows update, and I will end up having to reinstall the same update, despite being already up to date. This has been happening for at least a month

Another side to this problem is that running windows update will cause "Advanced Micro Devices" updates. After trying to install these updates I get this error message from trying to open Radeon Software. Following the URL, I followed all the steps to disable updates from hardware, but it does not improve my situation.




I am currently under the impression that

1. windows installs update in the background
2. Radeon software becomes incompatible
3. reinstalling Radeon software uninstalls micro devices update
4. windows attempts to reinstall micro devices update
5. repeat

I could very well be wrong though, this is just what I am noticing from me constantly reinstalling the software.

Laptop in question:
IdeaPad Flex 5 14ALC05
AMD Ryzen 7 5700U
Windows 10 (OS Build 19043.1151)

I was told that Windows is installing the UWP drivers supplied by the laptop maker or their WHQL drivers, and the drivers from AMD are generic drivers and may not support the specific functions/features the laptop maker may have included.

I would also like to note my main reason for installing this software is because the first time installing it, it wiped my secondary monitor's driver, making it low resolution. Radeon Software has an option to force a resolution which is why I've been using it. However, if I could somehow get the driver back I would 100% just give up on Radeon Software as that's the only purpose it served.
