Windows 10: Incorect corres in "Task manager"

Hello, I see in Task manager 3 cores and 6 Logical processors, I know its 10 question like this one but still?

My Processor is

AMD FX-6300 "https://www.amd.com/en/products/cpu/fx-6300#product-specs"

so its cant be true "It has 3 bulldozer modules which each count as 2 cores.


Basically at 'worst' it counts as 3 cores for certain kinds of operations and at best as 6 cores.
So in that sense it is not a 'true' 6 core CPU. Like the Phenom X6's were for example."


So why I see in Task Manager 3 cores and 6 "Logical Processors" In my bios I see 6 items, or bios shows "virtual" to, when I bought it I got 12 on a box to...


And if its still 3... HOW MUCH real REAL cores have Rysen 9? 6 and 8 then?

Windows 10 - cannot add exec to Startup in Task Manager

I purchased a new computer with Windows 10 already installed. I am trying to add an exec to the startup list but Win10 will not accept it. The exec runs successfully on my Windows 10 machine if I start it manually.

Steps I've taken: Task Manager, Startup Tab, File>Run New Task. (browse to location, select.) It will start immediately, but does not show up on the list to autostart, nor does it start on reboot.

Any suggestions?

Task Bar, Task manager and apps, all not responding, Windows 10

step 1 worked a dream. Had earlier tried everything suggested in these forums. nothing had worked to solve the problem. The media creation tool as suggested in step 1 did the trick. - it took several hours, but worth it.

ps. original complaint - non responding - and task manager - blank or useless.
