Windows 10: Incorrect Email Set as Administrator email

Hi,I was trying to remove my email from my laptop as the administrator and give my father's email as the administrator. However, I missed one letter in his email and gave the wrong one. I made this incorrect email address the administrator and my account a standard user. When I tried to sign into this new account and didn't receive the code in the email, I realized I had entered it incorrectly. Now I am signed into my account which is a standard user and can't change my status, and I can't sign into the incorrect administrator account either. How do I fix this?

Based on the description, I am assuming that you are facing difficulties in setting up the PC with the Microsoft account.
In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 installed? (Type winver
  in Windows search/Run command)
• Did you create a Microsoft account with double m in .com?
• Do you have any other user account created on the PC?
• When you say "typed in the current email we use but added an extra "m" on the .com" where did you type in the email with extra m?
  
• When you say "now it sends codes to the incorrect email. how do we change it" are you referring to the alternate email where you get the code?

Scenario 1: If you are able to login to the PC with the account, then convert this account to a local Administrator account and then convert back to Microsoft Account with the correct
email account.

Steps to covert to local account.

1. Press Windows + I key to open Settings.
   
2. Select Accounts and click on Your info from the left pane.
   
3. Click on Sign in with a local account instead.
   
4. Click on Next. And follow the onscreen steps.

Note: Don’t set a password.



Steps to covert to Microsoft Account.

1. Press Windows + I key to open Settings.
   
2. Select Accounts and click on Your info from the left pane.
   
3. Click on Sign in with a Microsoft Account instead.
   
4. Click on Next. Enter the correct Microsoft Account.
   
5. Follow the onscreen steps.

Scenario 2: If you have created an incorrect Microsoft account, e.g. Lxxxxxx@xxxxx.comm, then create a new Microsoft account. Refer this article on

Incorrect email when setting up new PC with Windows 10

My husband accidentally typed an incorrect email account when setting up a new PC with Windows 10. We cannot get passed the log-in screen.

I have held Shift key with a Restart command to get to the troubleshooting windows; however every step asks for the password of the email account that is incorrect.

I have tried to reboot to Safe-mode with the Command Prompt to add a user, but the computer will not proceed with the password to the incorrect email account.

The problem is the administrator account is the incorrect email account. Is there any way to fix this.

I'm working with Windows 10 on a new HP laptop.

 

Unauthorized Emails from my account?

It is more than likely that your email account was hacked, either by a virus sniffing your password, or just simply hacked.

Either way, change your password on your email account. Unfortunately the damage by already be done. They already have your contact list and your email address associated with that contact list. There is nothing stopping them from sending out emails using their own SMTP servers to everyone on your contact list and claiming the emails are from your email address. They don't actually have to have access to your yahoo account or even any yahoo server to send emails to people that come from your address.
