    Incorrect Monitor Identification Issue


    Hello,I'm experiencing a strange issue with my multi-monitor setup. I have six monitors, but the system keeps incorrectly identifying the middle top monitor as Monitor 4 instead of Monitor 3.Has anyone encountered this problem before or have any suggestions on how to fix it?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Incorrect Monitor Identification Issue

    Hello. Yes. Turn off PC then trade the cable on the back of the monitor #3 & #4. That should fix it. On the GPU the ports should be listed 1 to 8 etc. It would be best to just trade the cables vs tring to set the numbers manually. The GPU program sometimes has the function to assign monitor number.

    Answer: trade the cable on the back of M 3 with 4.

    Incorrect Monitor Identification Issue

    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    If you move your mouse off the right side of the monitor, does the mouse cursor go to the monitor on the right of that middle top monitor.

    In that settings window, can you click and drag monitors 3 and 4 into their correct location?
