Windows 10: Incorrect Network Credential for Lan Shared Folder

Hi, I just updated my Win 11 desktop into 23H2 and found I cannot access the NAS folder via file explorer anymore. It keeps showing the username/password is incorrect. However, I have 3 PCs at home: A laptop with WIN 11 22H2, a desktop with WIN10 and this problemed one. All other 2 PCs have no problem to access with the same username/password. My system info is here:Edition Windows 11 Pro Version 23H2 Installed on ‎10/‎4/‎2023 OS build 22631.2715 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22677.1000.0 I have tried many ways to fix it but failed.

Network Credentials Incorrect

File sharing has been broken since they removed Homegroup. So I give all the best resources for setting up and troubleshooting File Sharing, so if one thing doesn't work you can try another.

In your case you said you had a problem with Network Credentials so I provided everything possible to do for that as well.

You asked what is the point of trying to get into folder shares and permissions, the answer is that everything depends upon that.



I've helped thousands of users fix File Sharing problems in Windows 10. The ones who actually perform the steps almost always get it fixed, although it can be difficult. Those who complain about having to do too much work, and don't report back or engage on a single step, are of course not going to get it fixed.

Unable to share files in my LAN

Hi all, I have two Windows 10 PC's in my home LAN (connected to same wired router). I would like to be able to transfer files between them. I have followed all steps in this guide and verified all requirements comply with it. When I open Windows Explorer and then click on Network in one PC I see the other PC listed, but when I double click on the PC I don't see any shared folder listed,not even the Public folder, instead I see the following error, any hint? Thanks
