Windows 10: Incorrect Password

Discus and support Incorrect Password in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Cannot use laptop as password entered is incorrect even though it was not, so changed it on another device, just to get the same message when I try it...     Incorrect Password


    Cannot use laptop as password entered is incorrect even though it was not, so changed it on another device, just to get the same message when I try it on the laptop. I now have a laptop I cannot use. I have changed the password 3 times now.

    The Password is Incorrect

    I have tried login in to my computer on Windows 10 but it shows password is incorrect. I have followed the steps indicated but it is still showing that the password is incorrect. Please advise.

    Password incorrect

    How do I get out of safe mode so I can reset my settings?

    1. Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
    2. Type msconfig and press Enter.
    3. In the window, click on Boot tab.
    4. uncheck Safe boot, click on Apply and Ok. Restart
    Not sure why it started in Safe mode. May have been out of sync with your phone from prev incorrect password. See if restart fixes. At least, you know what your universal MS password is. *Wink
