Windows 10: Incorrect sort by artist when uploaded to my MP3 player

I have 4 other Imagine Dragons albums, and when sorted by artist they all show up under "Imagine Dragons".


I added a new album and it's being sorted under "Imagine Drag", making it so I can't shuffle by artist. Here's a picture:






Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this?

MP3 player with folder sorting

Hey guys,

My Commodore eVic has been having issues with its hard drive (as they all do), and it's getting to the point where I want a replacement. I would prefer it to sort the MP3s by folder as opposed to the iPod way of sorting it by album, artist, track, etc.

Buying used it not a problem as I don't think many manufacturers sort the MP3s like that these days. Storage will be at least 4GB but preferably 8GB+.

My Sony NWZ-A845 has folder sorting, I think most Sony MP3 players do if not all of them *Wink

 

Sort order for MP3's in Music Player

Shouldn't MP3 files within an album be sorted alphabetically according to their file names, or at least to some ID3 tag (such as Track No. or Title)? I have copied a folder containing a music album on the memory card of my N85, and after refreshing, I
see the tracks listed in a completely random order, even though the files are clearly named, according to the pattern "Artist - Album - Title.MP3".

Can anyone guess why this is happening? Is there a way to specifically tell Music Player how you want your files sorted? Thanks for any help!
