I'm having issues with certain Unicode characters displaying correctly on my device across both web browsers I use - Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox. I am running Windows 10 Home as my operating system. The characters in question that I have found so far are the multiplication symbol and the pound sterling. The unicode for the multiplication symbol appears as D-Pad right Unicode in web browsers. The unicode for pound sterling appears as a B-button icon in web browsers.I have tried setting system locale to Different regions, United States -> Japan, Japan -> United States. I have put a

Unicode Support in Regional Languages (Hindi)

    Hi,

On my HTC Touch, WM6.1, I have tried to use Hindi Devnagri script many a times but the browser doesn't render Hindi based sites though the phone seems to Support Unicode. There was a suggestion on a website some months ago to copy mangal (or any
other unicode font) to fonts folder on mobile.. I did that but then the phone considers that font as some System font and changes a lot many interfaces (menu/programs) to gibberish without displaying correction.

Can you help me with how can I see unicode websites on my phone ?

    thanks

  3. A Faster Web Browser for Windows 10?

    Hi,

You always have the option to use other browsers, however I strongly suggest that you use Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer because of the newer features. To address your issue we are going to enable your Flash Player Plugin. Kindly follow these steps:

    • Click the "..." button on the upper right corner of your Edge browser.
    • Click on Settings.
    • Under Advanced settings section, click the View advanced settings button.
    • Locate the Use Adobe Flash Player section and toggle the switch on to enable Adobe Flash Player.
    • Refresh your web page or open a new browser tab.
    Let's see how it behaves.

    Regards.
