Windows 10: Incorrect unit of Temperature in Lockscreen's weather

In win11 lockscreen, the local temperature is shown in Fahrenheit - https://imgur.com/a/y1q4TDf I live in a country that uses Celsius and in the weather app I have it on C, but it still won't change in the lock screen: How can I fix this?

Bing Weather app for WP8 shows incorrect temperature

I am curious, how did you know which provider you have?

My bing weather app is showing both incorrect temperature and incorrect weather in general. When it has been sunny and cloud free for several days, the weather app persistently claims it's overcast (!).

The provider being used is indicated in the bottom left hand corner of the screen (under the high/low temperatures). In my case, this is "WDT".

You can see the list of providers by going into the settings and swiping to the "Credits" page.

I don't believe that it's possible to set the provider in the Bing Weather app, but there are countless other weather apps in the Windows Phone Store that use a wide range of providers and layouts.

 

How to change Weather app display temperature to Celsius ?

1. Launch the Weather app and check the option
Celusis under Show temperature in:

OR

2. Launch the Weather app, right-click with your mouse and click the button marked
Change to Celsius.
