    Incorrect User Name Preventing Access To Home Screen


    I am extremely frustrated, disgusted & absolutely annoyed. My username keeps coming up totally incorrect. How do I fix this disaster so I can actually get past lock screen & sign into my computer.

    'incorrect user name and password'


    The netplwiz option is the same as I posted in post #2 below. If you check the Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer box, do you still get this "incorrect user name and password" message?

    Preventing access to modern app

    Ive been tasked with preventing the children from accessing instagram. I've got it listed in my windows hosts file and internet options/security/restricted site but the windows 10 app is still allowing access. Any suggestions other then deleting app which can just be reinstalled?

    The user name or password is incorrect at logon screen

    Hi,

    I've installed Ubuntu side by side with Windows 10.
    After selecting to boot windows from grub bootloader
    I get a logon screen with the message:

    Incorrect User Name Preventing Access To Home Screen [​IMG]

    When I press enter the logon process goes as usual I enter my password and login.
    How can I disable this annoying message ?
