Windows 10: Increase brightness shortcut decreases brightness instead sometimes.

I've been having this issue for a while now. Sometimes, when I wake up my laptop, the screen brightness won't be turned up all the way. When I press the shortcut to increase the brightness Fn+F6, it decreases the brightness even more. The decrease brightness shortcut still does what it's supposed to, if that matters. I end up having to go into settings to use the brightness slider, but even on max my display still isn't as bright as it normally is. It's really annoying and I have no idea why it happens. I just have to wait for it to resolve itself. I'm using the blue light filter but it isn'

When I decrease my brightness it increases and when I increase is decrease.

When I decrease my brightness it increases and when I increase is decrease and when I increase to max it shows black screen and again when I decrease for max(black screen) it is showing very low brightness.

my lap DELL inspiron 15 3000 series got special buttons for increase or decrease brightness of screen. But now its not working on buttons and as well as i don't know other options to control brightness.
