    Yeah I know! Sometimes very frustrating, and some stuff didn't work properly anywhere without a few hacks. Early MS products were heavily married with each other. Once all that gets modernized, I think it will beconme a great product.

    Just to clarify, are you referring to Windows Live Mail installed on the computer or the mail.live.com website? Windows Live Mail application will consume your local storage, while online Windows Live Mail storage are limited to the space allocated by the
    server.

    Yep, that's what I state by "Settings: System: Storage." above.

    You will also note that the very first item is "New apps will save to:".

    Accepting for now that they just stuck that one in to look pretty and have absolutely no function for someone didn't have anything better to do, are you able to get function out of any, and allow me to stress ANY, other of those??? The drop down arrows do
    nothing on my FOUR installations. Furthermore, why on earth would they specifically write "Change where your apps, documents, music, pictures and videos are saved by default." if they did not intend to provide alternate location for APPS???

    I am presently beating my head against a wall trying to insert a "snip" showing the caption...

    Anyway, NONE of them do anything but change the color of the box!!!
