Windows 10: increment updating from 1803... - 22H2

For the past year or so my computer has been routinely restarting itself at night to update itself from version 1803 to the latest update and I have only learned now that it has been failing to do so. Now that the current update is 22H2 I am unable to do a direct upgrade path and need to do several incremental iso installations. I am having trouble finding the iso's required, and even then I have mounted the iso's, only to run the setup.exe file in order to install it and the installation and have it fail. I do NOT have a disk drive Please do not respond with only a mediacreation tool link.

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

 

Unable to update Windows 10 Pro version 1709 to 1803

Have made several attempts to update Windows 10 version 1709 to the latest version 1803 and have not been successful.

I've done the following per some suggestions found online:

• Updated drivers
• Ran the Trouble Shooter for Windows 10 (Errors found were shown to be "Fixed" per the tool)
• Unplugged the printer

Although not at every attempt, I have received the following errors:

• 0xc1900101
• 0x80070643

Can someone please advise me as to what the errors are and provide me with the steps to update Windows.

There are certain laptop models and computer components that are not fully compatible with the latest Windows version (Windows 1803). Our developers are aware of this and may release an update to address the issue as soon as possible. With that said, we do
not suggest to force upgrade a device that has compatibility issues. Please answer the following so we can check for options on how we can help you with your concern:

1. What is the make and model of your PC?
2. How did you upgrade your computer to Windows 1803?
3. Did you get any error messages?
4. Do you have a 3rd party antivirus installed on your PC?

Normally, if your PC meets the requirements for the upgrade, it will be offered to you. If your PC doesn't have an incompatible hardware, then we can proceed with troubleshooting steps.
