  1. Incremental Manual Directory Sync

    Hi y'all --

I understand that this might be a strange and sub-optimal ask for some, but I have a very specific use case. I would like to be able to manually back up a single folder to another drive. I do not want a disk clone or a Windows/Time Machine style backup. I want to open my destination drive and see the same thing as my target drive. I'd like to be able to do this incrementally, only transferring what has changed on the target drive since the last backup. I don't need to keep multiple iterations of this backup. I just want a manual, incremental, delta mirror-style file sync. What is the best tool for this job?

    Please and thank you.

    Directory Size Utility

First of all nice utility, Mindweaver!
Second of all, it's so nice to see that this section ain't dead.

    I have a few questions/suggestions, maybe you'd want to see ...
    • maybe you rename Get Folder button caption to something more intuitive? Add Folder, Get Folder Size, Check Folder Size or something like that?
    • Could you add subfolder files to the right pane? (it can be a tickbox with include sub dirs)
    • maybe you also add export list to excel?
    • there's delete file button maybe you add delete folder button too?
    • and finally maybe you can add UP button for directories?

    Wireless Sync Zune Manually

    Hello intodevel,

Thank you for writing. Yes, it is possible to manually start the wireless sync, and to start it, please follow these steps:

    • Make sure your computer is on and that you're logged in to your Windows user account.

    • On your Zune player, select Settings, Wireless, Sync,Sync with PC. Your Zune player displays the status of the sync process, including:

    • Looking for network

    • Connecting to network

    • Connecting to PC

    • Preparing to sync

    • Syncing

    • Sync complete
You can also refer to the full article on wireless syncing for more information about the process and other options here:Xbox Official Site: Consoles, Games, and Community | Xbox
