Windows 10: Index.dat and .file files on Desktop

Recently files which I believe to be temporary files have started appearing in my desktop, I have:-Cleared all temporary system files-Made sure that the 'Hidden Files' Box is unchecked in Windows Explorer-Restarted my computerThey come in folder with a random number and letter like d1 and the file in the folder looks like:-82cce671526151cf1693cdb0124d38c9z7ecab54.file-9d2aa44fdcb3462753064e2d84632964d255f03a.fileAny help would be appreciated as they clutter up my desktop and are annoying to constantly delete.

I don't know if will help, but I noticed in a thread someone (@chefsuccess.com) mentioned, that, you need to use the restore to import the file.

I don't use the software, so, I have no idea on the steps/procedure.

.dat = data file, which can be literally anything.

does Pampered Chef have it's own software, what do the dat files normally open in?

.dat files are rarely directly opened, they are more often opened by the software that uses it.
