Windows 10: Indexing bug: e-mail recipients indexed and searched only partly

Hi,There seems to be bug in the indexing of .msg files. I store Outlook .msg files in the file system. Hence I also search in these files in the file system, using File Explorer. If searching by to:SomeDomainName, the search results are incomplete. It seems that some .msg files or index of these make Firstname Lastname available for File Explorer search, and some .msg files or index of these make *** Email address is removed for privacy *** available. So the result is that, if I search by to:SomeDomainName I only get subset of .msg files that actually are sent to SomeDomainName. The result is complete if I s

System conflict is one of the possible reasons why the index built will not function properly. We suggest running the Search and Indexing troubleshooter by following these steps to resolve your issue:

• Open Control Panel.
• In the search box, type troubleshooting.
• Click on Troubleshooting.
• Click on View all.
• Select Search and Indexing and select the proper scenario that you are experiencing on indexing and click

Drive missing from indexer search roots

While trying to investigate issues with files not being found by the search indexer, I have noticed that there seems to be an issue with a drive missing from the search roots. Some details that might be important:

• The compute has three internal drives:
  • OS Drive C:, SSD, all the usual system partitions
  • Data drive E:, HDD, two partitions (the other one doesn't need to be indexed)
  • Data drive D:, Storage space, one partition

• In "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Search\CrawlScopeManager\Windows\SystemIndex\SearchRoots", only C:\ and D:\ are listed
• The indexer diagnostics tool lists "file:///C:\" and "file:///E:\" under "Search roots", which contradicts the registry key
• Under "What is being indexed?", the tool lists only paths starting with C:\ and E:\, where the paths starting with E:\ are on D:\ in reality. The same list for excluded paths appears in the Settings app under "Searching Windows"
• The "Indexing options" dialog shows both folders on D:\ and E:\ as being indexed (when clicking on "Modify"). In the "Index these locations" view, no location from E:\ is actually listed
• The search mode is set to "Classic"

What is going on here? Why is the Indexer diagnostics tool confusing D:\ and E:\? Why are locations from E:\ not appearing in the list of locations to index? Is there any way to add a drive to the search roots/let the indexer recreate them entirely?

Search - Indexing not running

• Press the Start button.
• Type %LocalAppData%.
• Select Packages.
• Click on windows.immersivecontrolpanel_cw5n1h2txyewy.
• Choose LocalState.
• Right-click the Indexed folder.
• Click Properties.
• Click Advanced.
• Click the checkbox beside Allow files in this folder to have contents indexed in addition to file properties so that a check mark appears.
• Click OK.
• Click Apply.
• Click OK. A window with a progress bar will pop up as the folder is indexed.
• Click OK when the indexing progress is finished.

After doing the steps provided, kindly try to use the search feature again.
