Windows 10: Indexing gets deleted every time I reboot window 11

Every Time I reboot my File Manager search facility does not work. The indexing disappears.I have the latest Windows 11Indexing takes around 3 days.... 1,5 million filesIt appears the indexing file keep getting rebuilt..Why do I stop loosing the indexing file?

We appreciate the time and effort that you have invested in to fix the issue. I would suggest that you return the settings back to
Local System Account from This Account under
Log on tab and perform the steps below.

• Rebuild the Windows Search Index and check. Refer to these steps. This can be used if you are able to go through the
  Indexing Options in Control Panel.
• On the search bar type Indexing Options and click on it.
• Click the Advanced button at the bottom of the
  Indexing Options window. This displays a new window titled Advanced Options.
• Click the Index Settings tab if it isn’t selected already.
• Click the Rebuild button to delete and rebuild the file index.
• Click OK to confirm.

window 11 indexing is pause

i managed to solve this issue (indexing is paused automatically) by doing the following steps:-

1. check if you have any "weird" windows update file "Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5004567) or Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5004567)" or etc & you can't find it in the microsoft update catalog installed in your windows 11 device

2. If yes, remove it

3. Reboot device (If after reboot, still not working, then rebuild your indexing)

 

Windows Search Indexing keeps restarting from scratch after reboot in Windows 11, but only after the index is fully built.

After my drives/files are fully indexed, Windows Search Indexing keeps restarting from scratch after I reboot in Windows 11. Very frustrating because I can't search for anything and it slows down the computer. Indexing takes a very long time because there are over 500,000 files including all emails, etc... To be clear, the issue does not arise until all of the files are indexed and the indexing is complete. This may take a day or two and I may shutdown and reboot during that time period without a problem. Once the data is fully indexed, indexing restarts from scratch on the next reboot.

Is there a setting that needs to be changed? What can be done to retain the index and add new data to the index rather than rebuilding each time I reboot?
