Windows 10: Indexing has paused on Windows 11 machine

Hello, I have Microsoft Outlook desktop running on my Windows 11 machine. The indexing keeps pausing. I have rebuilt the index three 3 times in the last four 4 weeks. The last rebuild was completed on 2/13. On 2/15 the indexing is paused again. I have stopped and started all associated services from previous notes. I have checked and the battery saver is off, laptop is plugged into a docking station.I have run Scannow - no issuesI have run DISM cleanup - no issuesI am using Outlook desktop to import my Gmail, not using Outlook 365.

Indexing is pausing Automatically

We have found issue with the indexing in Windows 11.

Indexing has been paused automatically.

Already checked the following steps.

1) Troubleshoot Search & indexing issue by Windows Troubleshoot

2) Restarted Windows Search Service in services.msc

3) Restarted & Updated

After these steps the system index for an while.

But It will pause automatically after a while.

Please help me to find a solution.

Issue show on almost all Windows 11 PC which is recent upgraded from Windows 10 Home version.

i managed to solve this issue (indexing is paused automatically) by doing the following steps:-

1. check if you have any "weird" windows update file "Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5004567) or Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5004567)" or etc & you can't find it in the microsoft update catalog installed in your windows 11 device

2. If yes, remove it

3. Reboot device (If after reboot, still not working, then rebuild your indexing)

thank you..restarting the windows search service paused the index option.... worked for me..it ungreyed the paused button in the index.
